Edward Ndlovu Memorial Trust

The Trust was founded in 1990, in memory of the late Edward Ndlovu, who spent his entire adult life engaged in the struggle to improve the lives of Zimbabweans.

It is a non-profit organisation whose general aim is to promote development projects in Matabeleland South, Zimbabwe. The Edward Ndlovu Memorial Library was opened to the public in 1992 and in 1996 the service was extended to cover disadvantaged rural school in the district through a Book Box scheme.

Currently, the Book Box scheme consists of three clusters with 24 schools, serving over 10,000 children, teachers and parents. Twice every term, boxes containing 180 books are rotated throughout these schools.
